Mr. Calvin Choyce was born March 16, 1938 in Longview, Texas to Charlie and Jeanette (Moody) Choyce. He passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his residence. Age 79 years.
Mr. Choyce attended Potter Elementary School in Saginaw, Michigan until the age of 9 years. He was in the 4th grade when he acquired a debilitating illness which prevented him from furthering his education. He was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church for several years, and later a member of Galilee Baptist Church, both in Saginaw, Michigan.
Throughout Calvin’s Life, he remained strong in his faith despite his circumstances. Mr. Choyce leaves to cherish loving memories many nieces and nephews too numerous to list.
Calvin was preceded in death by both parents, Charlie Sr. and Jeanette Choyce; four brothers, Gillis (Mae), Ulysee, Charlie Jr. (Katherine), and Alonzo (Dorthy) Choyce; two sisters, Pauline (George) Everett, Barbara Jean (Daniel) Walker, all of Saginaw, Michigan.
