Britney Couvillion

Ms. Britney Fontaine Couvillion earned her wings on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the age of 28 years. She was born December 9, 1986 in Saginaw, Michigan to Porter James Couvillion and Patricia Ann Wilson.
Britney was a lifelong resident of Saginaw, Michigan. She was a 2006 graduate of Mackinaw Academy. Britney was introduced to Christ at an early age at St. Joseph Parish. She later joined Daniels Den Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Taurus Simpson. Britney enjoyed being a mother. She had a passion for writing poetry and being with her family and friends.
Britney leaves to cherish in her memory her one and only son, Donyale Lavell Couvillion Chapman; her parents, Porter James Couvillion and Patricia Ann Wilson; three brothers, Marcus and James Wilson, Clarence Williams; three sisters, Tasima and Tanya Wilson and Janeen Youngblood; three uncles, Rondal (Geraldine) Wilson, James Henry and Marlon Moses; fives aunts, Ethel (Willie) Merrell, Ruthie Mae Dillard, Rita Wilson, Gwen Thomas and Kristine Henry; a special niece, Cornisha Simon and two special friends, Andre Blackmon and Jasmine Swilley, the godmother of her son; many other relatives and friends whom she loved dearly.
Britney was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul and Angeline Joseph, Laura Wilson and George Anderson, one uncle, Delaneo Moses.
The family would like to express special thanks to Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel and everyone who offered prayers, support and encouraging words.
