Bonnie Kate Logan passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital (Covenant Healthcare-Harrison). Age 63 years. She was born June 14, 1948 in Louisville, Mississippi to Kattie Lee and Oscar Carter.
She was a lifelong member of Emmanuel Church of Deliverance and later joined Greater Solid Rock Baptist Ministries. Bonnie retired from General Motors after many years of faithful service. She enjoyed going to church, shopping and cooking.
Bonnie leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Barbara Logan; nine god-children, MyOsha Reed, NaKaja Reed, Brenda Beckom, Keshondra Reed, Hurlette Reed, Ciera Robinson, Alfonso Thomas, Donna ONeal, Ernest Noore Jr.; two grandchildren, DeMarcus Logan, Jacob Gaines IV; mother, Kattie Lee Carter; six sisters, Bonnie Ruth Carter, Arrie Lawson, Hannah Carter, Bonnie Lee Carter, Alice Carter, Annette Baker; five brothers, Michael Carter, Larry Carter, Bobby W. Carter, Orson Carter, Erskin Carter; four sisters-in-law, Laura Carter, Bessie Malone, Pearl Bowden, Queen E. Long; three brothers-in-law, Samuel Lawson, Sylvester Jackson, Eddie Logan; many other relatives and friends including a special godmother, Hattie Cotton, special cousins James and Lynn Moore, Faye Carter, Pastor Provis and Fannie Carter, Pastor Ernest and Tammy Reed, James Young Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Lee Logan; father, Oscar Carter; brother, Bobby Gene Carter; grandmother, Millie Carter; family members, Mary Jane Tripplett, Iris Brown, James Carter, Wendel Carter, A.L. Carter, Hargie Ruth Culberson.
