Bobby Ray Oglesby transitioned to Heaven above on May 5, 2020 at the age of 65 years. He was born to Renzie and Elizabeth Oglesby on September 13, 1954.
Bobby graduated from Buena Vista High School, “Class of 1972”. He received a scholarship for mathematics to Alma College. However, he chose to work for Delphi Corporation for thirty-one years. On June 4, 1973, he married the love of his life, Marilyn D. Oglesby. Bobby was always the life of the party. He loved to DJ in his spare time.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Renzie and Elizabeth Oglesby; granddaughter, Je’Nhyla Simms; brother, Renzie Oglesby, Jr.; aunts and uncles, Mae and Bobby Lavender, Claude Jr. and Rosabelle Oglesby; in-laws, Marshall and Bennie Sanders.
He leaves to cherish his memory his faithful wife, Marilyn D. Oglesby; two loving daughters, Destiny T. and Stephanie R. Oglesby of Saginaw, Michigan; grandchildren, Samarria, Zarriyah, Jaimarion, Zaivyah, Jaiceon, Jalaiyla, Jaleel, Omora, Orieano Jr., and Ona; three brothers, Darnell (Janice) Oglesby, Saginaw, Michigan, Major (Lana) Oglesby, Indianapolis, Indiana, Michael (Mary) Oglesby, Saginaw, Michigan; one sister, Christine Rodgers, Hilo, Hawaii; aunt, Juanita Brown, Tampa, Florida; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
