Baby Queeyn Monae Tares Lockett

Baby Queeyn Monae Tares Lockett was born October 7, 2015 to her mother, Quinyun Lockett and father, Jay-Quarirus Haley. God called his angel home January 13, 2016 at Mott's Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Age 3 months.


Queeyn was a beautiful baby girl who loved to cuddle and "coo" talk. She had a smile so big and bright that would make you fall in love. She was truly our sunshine.


She leaves to cherish her loving memory her parents, Quinyun Lockett and Jay-Quarirus Haley; two siblings, Amiyah and Jordon Haley of Saginaw, Michigan; grandparents, Fredrick and Tangela Lockett and Melissa Haley; great-grandmother, Mable Haley; three uncles, ZaQuaveyon Smith, DeMarayon Haley and Fredrick Lockett, Jr.; one awesome aunt, Quintanna Lockett; many other relatives and friends, including a special cousin JaNya Lockett.

Baby Queeyn was preceded in death by one sister, Jaelyn Haley; great-grandparents, Minnie Cooper and Vera Lockett and great-grandfather, Emzie Hulett.

We the Lockett and Haley family would like to express our deepest appreciation to the staff at Motts Childrens Hospital at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan, the Taco Bell crew on Holland Road, Michigan Avenue and the Bridgeport, Michigan locations, our family and friends who continue to help and support us during this time of sorrow.
