Baby Londynn Mackenzie Gibson gained her heavenly wings and flew into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 23, 2014. Age 6 months. She was born July 15, 2013 in Saginaw, Michigan to Markesha Jones-White and Cordelle Gibson Sr.
Although her time spent on earth was short, Londynn touched the lives of many with her unique characteristics. Most notable was when she heard the sound of her great-grandmothers voice. She loved to watch cartoons however Tinkerbell seemed to attract her the most. Londynn would rather be held because she didnt like her car seat at all. Her big brother Cordelle was the apple of her eye. Londynn taught her family the true meaning of love. Her sweet presence will be truly missed by all who loved her.
She leaves to cherish her precious memory her parents, Markesha Jones-White and Cordelle Gibson Sr.; grandparents, Kimberly L. Jones, Mark White, Corrie Gibson and Howard (Kila) Thomas Jr.; great-grandparents, Lucille Jones and Ruby White; great-great-grandparents, Lucy Alexander, Lena Wilson and Carl Gibson Sr.; one brother, Cordelle L. Gibson Jr.; thirteen aunts, MarQuisha Jones, Angel Johnson, Rose Gibson, Debbie (David) Jones-Burt, Carla Gibson, LaKeysha Nettles, Kerry (Antwan) Turner, Michelle (John) Livingston, Precious White, Betty (Johnny) Williams, Ada Jackson, Earlene and Mildred Nettles; ten uncles, Willie (Ona) Jones, Reverend Edward (Addie) Jones, Michael Jones, Carl Gibson Jr., Dyamond Rowe, Vennis Liles, Lester White, Tyrese White, Eddie Nettles and R.D. Nettles; many other relatives and friends including those who played a special part in Londynns life, her special cousins, Penelope Haynes, Tontaneesha Livingston, KeAiris White, Sommer Frazier, David C. Burt Jr., Clifton T. Jones, Crystal Green, Christopher Gibson Sr. and Jasmine Beverly.
Londynn was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Rosemary Barnes (Eli) and great-grandfathers, Solomon White and Willie Lee Jones.
The family wishes to express special thanks to Covenant VNA Hospice and University of Michigan Mott Childrens Hospital.
