Baby Ju'Wel Lavon Glenn

Baby JuWel Lavon Glenn peacefully transitioned into eternal rest on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison. Age 6 months. He was born January 25, 2015 in Saginaw, Michigan to Ashley Wellons and Jeffery Glenn.

Baby JuWel loved being held and also catered to. He showed all the love that he had through his eyes. Affectionately known as JuJu, JuWel loved to cuddle with his parents and sister. He was an adorable baby whose presence will be truly missed.

JuWel leaves to cherish his precious memory, his parents, Ashley Wellons and Jeffery Glenn; grandparents, Rhonda Jones, Jason Wellons, Sr., Tonya Glenn; great-grandparents, Gabriella (Henry) Baldwin, James (Erma) Wellons; one sister, Denayja McNeal; one brother, Jayden Glenn; seven aunts, Taniashai Elkins, Catoya Williams, Breia Wellons, Samone Johnson, Jalynn Wellons, ShoKesse Williams, Tracy Thomas; seven uncles, Mark Clay, Jason Wellons, Jr., Kendrick (Jennifer) Elkins, Harvey Johnson, II, DeMario Corley, Jermaine (Danielle) Bentley, James Wellons; godmother, Crystal Beasley, and a host of cousins and family friends.

Baby JuWel was preceded in death by his great-great-grandmothers, Elouise smith, Paulette Smith; great-great-grandfathers, Ronald Evans, Tommy Smith Jones-Wellons, three aunts, Regina Elkins, Jewel Morris, Britney Couvillion, one uncle, Herman Walker.

The family would like to express special thanks to the staff of the 2nd and NICU floor of Covenant Healthcare-Harrison, Ivan E. Phillips and the staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel, Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church, and everyone who offered prayers, support and encouraging words.
