Baby Dakota Monaee Bailey gently passed into the arms of Jesus surrounded by her mother and family on Sunday May 24,2015 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison. Age 2 days. She was born May 22, 2015 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of Shanae Bailey and Dre Thomas both of Saginaw, Michigan.
During her brief visit on earth, she enjoyed being held close by her mother and holding her fingers. She was loved by all who met her and will be greatly missed.
She leaves to cherish her memories her mother and father, Shanae Bailey and Dre Thomas; her grandparents, Levon Bailey, David Bailey and Brenda Bailey; one brother, Josiah Elijah Thomas; thirteen aunts, Debra Bailey, Loretta (David) Coates, Stephanie Bailey, Kashanda Bailey, Briana Bailey, Alisha Perkins, Michella Franklin, Brenda Franklin, Mary Coleman, Sharon (Tom) Cage, Alice Arrington, Catherine McCall, Willie Mae (Roy) Coleman; four uncles, Dequavis Collins, Shavonte Nelson, Samuel (Theresa) Perkins, John (Karen) Perkins; godparents, David and Shawanda Scroggins; many other relatives and friends.
Dakota was preceded in death by her grandparents, Nathaniel and Willie Mae Perkins; two uncles, Bobby DeAndre Bailey and Robert Lee Perkins.
