Andre Reginnald Jones passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012. Age 18 years. He was born October 17, 1993 in Saginaw, Michigan to Felicia Jones and Reginnald Cooper.
Andre was a member of Bethel AME Church where he was very active in the youth ministry. With his winning smile, bright and comical personality, Dre won the hearts of all he touched. He loved his family and friends. He was kind, agreeable and always willing to help. Most notable about his agreeable nature was his quick phrase, Thats good enough! You know Im not hard to please! He would then flash that famous smile. Dre will also be remembered for his love of basketball, video games and music. On, April 10, 2012, Andre left us with a hole in our hearts that only he could fill.
He leaves to cherish his memory one son, DeMarion West; three step-children, Quenterion, Monterion, Tamarion Scott; his parents, Felicia Jones and Reginnald Cooper; godmothers, India Byrd, Lillian Jones, TaniJanika Gardner; grandparents, Herman and Mary Cooper, Pearl Jones; great-grandmothers, Annie Jackson, Carrie Welch; eight sisters, Dametria Neal, Breika and Reteika Cooper, Janika and Diana Owens, Latesha Gardner, Rayona Jones, Nadiya Byrd; six brothers, Perry Jones, Reno Worthington, Deonta Wesley, Reginnald Cooper Jr., Kevon Jones, Keonte Smith Jr.; one niece, Zaniya Moore; four aunts, Teresa Cooper, Phyliss Cooper, Delta Hawkins, Kimberly Jackson, Bernice (Ron) Crenshaw, Targie (Charles) Works, Angie Jenkins; ten uncles, Eric (Jennifer) Jones, Omar Jones, Darnell (Yvonna) Jackson, Leon (Sherry) Jackson, Kernuf (Jackie) Jackson, Andrew Welch, Randy Cooper, KeyKei McCall, Eulishes Welch, Keith (Lisa) Jenkins; many other relatives and friends including a very special friend, Letitia Scott; his best friends, Darrius, Demario, Kameron, Fatman, Corey, Quinnterra, Devan, Stanley (Man-Man).
Andre was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ethel (Net) and Larry Jones; great-grandfather, Roosevelt Jackson; two uncles, Robert Hawkins, Brandon Jones; one niece, Promyse Owens.
