Mr. Alvin Clark was born June 22, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Laura Clark and Alvin Faulk. He passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at St. Francis Rehab Center in Saginaw, Michigan. Age 59 years.
Alvin, called “Big Al” by family and friends, was a graduate of Saginaw High School, “Class of 1978”. He became employed at Saginaw Osteopathic Hospital and worked until his health declined. Despite his health issues, Al remained true to his God and his faith. He was a man that loved the Lord and exhibited great faith no matter what he encountered. He belonged to World Outreach Campus Church under the leadership of Pastor Hurley Coleman, Jr. and participated in various ministries at church.
Big Al enjoyed spending time with family, especially the holidays at Kesha’s house. He loved his children and grandchildren dearly. He was close with all his siblings and they shared a special bond. Big Al was a people person, always willing to help others. He was our ray of sunshine with his beautiful smile. He was truly loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Laura Clark and Alvin Faulk; sisters, Marcia Clark, Dorothy Whitley, Mildred McElroy; brother, Larry Faulk; brother-in-law, Hurley McElroy.
He leaves precious memories with his children, Alvin Williams, Devon Clark, Alvin (Anquinisha) Clark; six grandchildren, Ayesha and Malik Williams, Aameir Monroe, Kiara, Avery and Aubryon Clark; one great-grandchild; siblings, Sharon (Richard) McMillan, LaCiesha Clark, Ervin Harris, Benny Clark, Michael (Angela) Clark; aunt, Katherine Nix; sister-in-law, Charlene Brooks; brother-in-law, Lester Whitley; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends Gina Williams, Rolland and Ava Flood, Charles and Deirdra Ford.
