Alphonso Brown

December 31, 1963 — November 28, 2019

Mr. Alphonso Brown was born December 31, 1963 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Albert and Frannie Maude Brown. He went home to be with his heavenly father on Thursday, November 28, 2019.

Alphonso was introduced to Christ as a child at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Jackson in Chicago, Illinois. He grew a more personal relationship with God as he got older and later became a member at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Saginaw, Michigan.

Alphonso graduated from Wendell Phillips Academy High School in Chicago. He worked at the Chicago Public Library for a while. He enjoyed playing cards, eating, laughing, joking and talking trash. Without a doubt, Alphonso will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him.

Alphonso was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Frannie Maude Brown; sister, Loretta Brown; brothers, John Brown, Robert Brown; aunts, Leola Daniel, Zeola McDonald; uncles, Roosevelt and Alvin Little.

He leaves to cherish his memory four sons, Joshua, Alvin (LaShaundra), Kenneth (Monique Hibler), Jeremy Swayzer; grandchildren, Trevon Hibler, Marie Swayzer, Kenneth Swayzer Jr., Braylen Roses, Jaylen Roses, Alvin Swayzer Jr., Asialyn Swayzer, Anya Swayzer, Ace Swayzer; eight brothers, Irvan Little, Robert Brown, John Brown, Willie Brown; nieces, Toya (Marcus) Carter, Farrah Flower, Jessica Little; aunts, Hattie Little, Bernice Little; many beloved cousins, other relatives and friends, including special friends, Etta Smith, Gladys Rice, Benita Smith, Eddie Smith, Tony, and Darlean Donald.

The family would like to express special thanks to Covenant Harrison Healthcare, Darlean Donald from Paradise AFC, Ivan E. Phillips and the Staff of Paradise Funeral Chapel.
