August 19, 1956 — August 12, 2021

Mrs. Allie B. Brown-Willheart passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021, at her residence in Battle Creek, Michigan. Age 64 years. She was born August 19, 1956, in Silver City, Mississippi, the daughter of Ameil and Josie Brown. Allie, affectionately known as “Alla B,” was the 3rd of 7 children.

Allie grew up in Indianola, Mississippi until the tender age of 14, when she moved to Leslie, Michigan in 1969. She later moved to Lansing, Michigan where she made her home until 2018 when Allie then relocated to Battle Creek, Michigan to be with her daughters. She received her education from the Lansing School District. Allie enjoyed spending quality time with her family as well as taking vacations, fishing and had a love for cooking. She had a smile that would brighten up the room. When she entered a room if you did not know her, you did before she left. She was the life of the party. Allie was a strong woman who loved being the standup Aunt/friend. She was a true inspiration to all who knew her. Very outspoken but spoke from the heart. She later married Cecil Willheart, and to that union, two children were born, Cecil Andrew Willheart II and John Douglas Willheart. Allie was a stay-at-home mom until her children were grown. She later had multiple jobs within the Lansing Community. Allie dedicated her life to Christ at an early age and was a member of St. Matthews A.M.E Church. Allie had a kind and generous spirit; her loved ones are a living testament to her humility, character, and willingness to help others. Allie will be greatly missed.
