Mr. Alex Valentine Huerta was born June 7, 1975 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of Octavio and Valentina Huerta. He passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 in Grand Rapids, Michigan at the age of 44 years.
Alex was a graduate of Frankenmuth High School, “Class of 1994.” He later moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan and resided there until his untimely passing. He worked for Bell Landscaping and later Rock Auto.
Alex enjoyed fishing. He loved the freedom of the outdoors and calmness of nature while fishing. He was also a sports fanatic with his favorite teams being University of Notre Dame and the Michigan State University Spartans.
Alex was preceded in death by his father, Octavio Huerta.
He leaves precious memories with his daughter, Isabella; mother, Valentina Huerta (Carlos Cantu, Jr.); grandmother, Phyllis Yrlas; two sisters, Lisa (Joe) Lier, Ruth (Matt) Younger; three brothers, Octavio (Sara) Huerta, Gregorio (Jennifer) Huerta, Karlo (Julie) Huerta; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including his best friend, and classmate, Chris Juntunen.
