Mrs. Addie Mae Donald peacefully made her transition to eternal rest on Friday, July 17, 2015 at the age of 60 years. She was born October 15, 1954 in Coldwater, Mississippi to James and Ethel Shipp.
On October 14, 2005 Addie joined Mr. Jessie D. Donald in holy matrimony. He survives her. Addie was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed watching her favorite shows on the Investigation Discovery Channel.
Addie leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband, Jessie D. Donald; two sons, Duane Porterfield and Terry Shipp; four stepchildren, Jessie Donald Jr., Jason Donald, Daisy Donald and Tiarra Donald twenty-eight grandchildren; five sisters, Annie B. Anderson of Senobia, Mississippi, Ethel Thomas and Estelle Wright both of Coldwater, Mississippi, Willie Jean Farmer and Mary Burton both of Saginaw, Michigan; two brothers, Cleveland Williamson of Saginaw, Michigan and Joel Williamson of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; a host of nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Daisy Smith; seven sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-law; many other relatives and friends including her special friend, Linda Jackson.
Addie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel Shipp, two brothers, Leon Shipp and Fred Williamson.
The family wishes to express special thanks to everyone who offered kind words, condolences and prayers.
