Obituary for Samuel M. Webb

Mr. Samuel Mayon Webb passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at his residence. Age 69 years. He was born March 27, 1948 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to James Webb McCray and Gusella Wooten.

Samuel attended Altheimer, Arkansas schools graduating from Altheimer High School in 1965. He accepted Christ at an early age and continued in his faith as he united with Clearstone Baptist Church, later moving his membership to Victorious Believers Ministries upon arriving in Saginaw, Michigan. Samuel served under the leadership of the late Bishop Marvin C. Pryor and was presently under Elder Christopher Pryor. He joined in holy matrimony the love of his life, Lucille Webb, and embraced their 50 years of marriage with four children and thirteen grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was employed ten years with Saginaw Steering Gear and a member of UAW Local 699. Samuel later followed his dream by opening Sam’s Auto Shop, his first self-owned business. He graduated to an auto body partnership with his uncle Milton working on cars, helping neighborhood children keep their bicycles repaired, and lawn mower repairs. Samuel enjoyed spending time with his family and fishing. He will be missed dearly by all who loved him.
