Obituary for Eddie Weston

Mr. Eddie Weston “Chinese” passed away on January 6, 2018 at his residence. He was born on January 10, 1960 in Saginaw, Michigan to Doll E. and Hattie E. Weston.

Eddie was a resident of Saginaw, Michigan. He accepted Christ as Lord and Savior at an early age and was a member of New Life Baptist Church Ministries under the leadership of the late Reverend Dr. Rufus Bradley, Sr. Eddie completed his education at Saginaw Public Adult Education, “Class of 1979.” He loved music, especially R&B, “Old School”, and playing his guitar. Eddie was employed by Monitor Sugar Company in Bay City, Michigan. One of his frequent sayings was “And I mean it!”

He leaves to cherish loving memories his former wife, Vada Weston; son, Shaquille; sister, Barbara A. Weston, Saginaw, Michigan; brothers, Reverend James C. Weston and Doll Weston, both of Saginaw, Michigan, and Paul Weston, Savannah, Georgia; nieces, Evelyn Parks, Amanda Benton, Danyelle D. Hillman, Desiree Primas, Aysia Weston, Darlene Peoples, Genise Devers, Jessica and Jaime Parks; nephews, Jason Parks, Mitchell Weston, Paul Weston, Jr., Adam Watley, Willie Hillman and Anthony Minor; one aunt, Lois Brown, Temple, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Ava O. Weston, Genise Weston; many other relatives and friends; special friend, George Myles.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents, Doll E. and Hattie E. Weston; sisters, Jodell Primus and Eleanor M. Dever; grandparents, James and Josephine Cleveland, William and Eleanora Brown; nephews, Isaiah Weston and Harrold Primus, Jr.; uncles, Daniel O. and William A. Brown; sister-in-law, Genise A. Weston; brothers-in-law, Harrold Primus and Gus Devers.

The family would like to express special thanks to Bill and Carol of Vista Villa (who found him).
